Working with Datatables – Your Core Workspace

Datatables are at the heart of Batcher.ai. Every processing task, formula, and AI interaction you perform happens within a datatable. Think of them as dynamic, spreadsheet-like workspaces tailored for bulk AI processing.

What is a Datatable?

A datatable is a user-created spreadsheet within Batcher.ai that stores your spreadsheet. This is where you import your CSV/Excel files, write LLM formulas, and manage your results. Each datatable is independent and can be named, edited, and processed individually.

Key Capabilities of Datatables

  • Custom Naming: Organize your work by naming datatables according to your project or task (e.g., “Product Descriptions Batch” or “Market Research 2024”).

  • Multiple Tables: Create and manage as many datatables as needed for different datasets or experiments depending on your subscription tier.

  • Formula Support: Apply AI-powered formulas directly within cells—just like in traditional spreadsheets.

  • Batch Processing: Each datatable can be processed in bulk using the configurations and formulas you define.

  • Editable Data: Modify data, tweak inputs, or rerun processes at any time without starting from scratch.

Creating a New Datatable

  1. Navigate to the main page.

  2. Enter manually your data directly in the spreadsheet or upload the file you want to work with.

Once created, your datatable will appear in your dashboard and is ready for editing and processing. In the “datatable” page you have the possibility to rename or process any of your datatables.
